Phosphorous cleaning procedure

Patented VWP/Waldland procedure

VWP traditionally deals with the elimination of phosphorous (P) and alkaline earth elements (Ca/Mg) from pure plant oil up to the analytical detection limit. The basis was the discovery first made by Elsbett Construction, that not only inaccurate motor settings but also phosphorous in plant oil fuel can lead to engine residues. In addition to familiar catalyst toxicity, during test runs in 2001, VWP was able to verify for the first time the blockade of closed soot filters (Senertec) by P, CA/MG in fuel.

For decentralised oil mills

VWP/Waldland process for phosphorus purification and DIN 51623 fuel production in decentralized oil millsAs part of the plant oil engine development for John Deere, VWP was asked by the John Deer plant in Mannheim not to evade industrial phosphorous-free full-raffinate of prescribed fuel quality, but instead to develop an affordable procedure that also enables agriculture to produce quality plant oil in decentralised oil mills. With the patented VWP/Waldland procedure it is possible to remove P, Ca/Mg up to analytical detection by adding bleaching earth mixtures. VWP's experiences resulted in a gradual reduction of limit values for P, Ca/Mg in DIN fuel quality standards. Over the years, practical examples in Ecuador and Peru showed that the application of the VWP/Waldland procedure enables affordable and secure production of DIN plant oils in the most remote parts of the earth.
